Dalai Lama quoted that worthy piece of advice very wisely. The work centric life today and the mundane humdrums of a busy life is an all round affair and so taking time out for oneself through this all is something every soul needs to do. Travelling enlightens the mind and unclogs pores that might cause the way to an unbalanced lifestyle. In travelling, one experiences new people, new food, new place and a new environment which freshens up the entire living soul and rejuvenates the zest of life.
Every New Year brings in new hopes, new dreams and new aspirations and along with these new aspirations must be entwined the aspiration to travel as well. Every New Year one must go out and experience a raw and unplugged journey, be it solo or with a group. Unwinding from the technological clamps and paving the way for some fresh and unadulterated way of life gives a new meaning to life. Relaxing amidst nature and the people of a different race or culture boosts the inner explorer and the mind is reclined.
One must always have a bucket list of the places one intends to visit and resolving to visit them one after the other, every year is a good way to start the New Year. The world is a massive place, beyond imagination and wanting to visit each of these places throughout a lifetime can be made the goal, for doing that would atleast commit the self to seeing half of it.
Travelling experiences are in fact learning experiences that pile on with the passage of time and thread into a beautiful series of memories. These experiences are about the culture of the place, the heritage, history, food and cuisine, the geography and the people of the place. The more one travels, the more one gains and the more one gains, the more one can share the knowledge. Leading life with this love to travel can be quite contagious and the friends and company with the same zeal and passion to travel turns out to be an amazing boost up. With life being a limited journey, why not fill it with unlimited experiences and share it with the world when the time is right.
